Wordless Wednesday

P1 recently had her birthday and almost the only thing she wanted was a Nintendo DS, preferably in pink. Since she was SO sure she was going to get one, I could not help making her guess a little when it came to the package it came in. She started by unwrapping this box of Quaker Oatmeal…something that has never passed her lips.

She was an incredibly good sport about it…never once getting frustrated or angry. She just kept on opening…

And opening….

and opening until she finally arrived at this cool little purse. I thought she might think that was the gift but oh no! My girl is one savvy little minx….she knew that it was a DS bag and had secretly hoped we would get that too!

So glad we did not disappoint! She does indeed seem to love it. Along with the DS we got her a few games – I SPY Fun House, Fashion Studio Paris, and her favorite, Club Penguin. I guess now I can do more DS product reviews, huh?

She was SO excited and thrilled. Even though she THOUGHT she was going to get a DS, there is always that tiny little bit of apprehension. Of course her mom and dad would never let her down. She had a great birthday and seemed so appreciative and oh yes, grown up. ):

Yes and she has been soooo good about it, sharing with P2 (and her Mom and Dad) since then. Perhaps this will help her interest/abilities with computers.
