Who is Bree Tanner and Why Should YOU Care?

Not much of a Twilight fan are ya?

That’s okay, I will bring you up to speed. Bree Tanner was one of the newborn vampires we ‘meet’ in Eclipse, the 3rd book and the movie due out this summer. Her life as a vampire was indeed very short as she was one of Victoria’s recruits when she was going after Bella (yes, again). Thankfully, the ever compassionate Carlisle was ready to let her live and try to teach her about their way of life.

There is more to the story but you really didn’t think I was going to spill ALL the beans, did you? Anyway Stephanie is releasing a ‘novella’ about Bree and her life as a newborn vampire as kind of an out growth of when she was originally writing Twilight and it is due out June 5th.

An extra cool thing Stephanie wanted to do is make this book free as a way of thanking her many zillions of fans so from noon on June 7th until July 5th, it will also be available online at www.breetanner.com for free. If you choose to buy the book, no problem. She is doing good there as well – One dollar of each book purchased in the US from the first printing will be donated to the American Red Cross for their relief efforts in Haiti and Chile and other parts of the world where people are in great need. They are going to have an option online as well, so you can choose to make a donation if you want when you read the story online. Yeah, she is THAT cool.
