Well, November came and went before I blinked twice! So much for the best laid plans regarding special activities for National Adoption Month! Ha! Could be because we were having a Rockin’ good time with something called Because It’s Christmas!!:) Y’all were so truly amazing about coming out and playing along and I know I really never thanked you. I truly have THE BEST READERS EVER!!!
Even though November has passed, I still wanted to share this wonderful piece of jewelry with you. This foster home in China – Starfish – is near and dear to my heart. It was named after the story regarding how you cannot save all of the starfish but you can make a difference to this one.
This beautiful bracelet was created as a fundraiser for Starfish. It is gorgeous and I know would make a fabulous gift for Christmas for someone. Not only would they receive a fabulous piece of jewelry but be donating to a very worthy cause.

STARFISH BABIES’ BRACELET FUNDRAISER!
… A fashionable way to make a difference!
I am a die-hard fan the babies. My husband, Pat, and I have been involved in the Starfish Foster Home in Xi’an China since our return last year from working there. (www.thestarfishfosterhome.org)
Most of you also know that November is National Adoption month. Over here in the U.S., we have launched a fundraiser with the help of the boutique artisan company, Ettika — they make super cool jewelry that has been featured in In Style, People, and Star Magazine and they outfit several celebrities. Together we have designed a special STARFISH BABIES’ BRACELET to raise funds for the home. EVERY penny except the base cost of goods goes to the babies. The bracelet was featured in StyleBakery.com on October 30th.
