I know how crazy the summer can get at this point with school starting for many like us in a few days, for some in a few weeks, but the Fresh Air Fund is still in need of host families. I posted about it a couple of times last year.  Thousands of inner-city children’s lives can still be changed.  Take a few minutes of your time and read about it and see if you can be of some help.

Well, Happy Chinese New Year!!

Remember Chinese New Year is the celebration of a new lunar year. It is a fifteen day holiday that starts on the evening of the second new moon after the winter solstice. This is sometime in January or February each year. This holiday ends with the Lantern Festival on the 15th day.
