Several times over the past couple of years, I have talked several times about how my girls have become huge fans of the Barbie DVDs (as well as myself, surprisingly). P1 and P2 probably think they are Barbie, truth be told, so each time she comes out with a new DVD, they are in love with it, dancing around and singing the songs after the first time they see it.  P3 is now getting right in line with them too.

Mom Central recently let me know that the Sing Along with Barbie DVD was coming out and that they would be sending me one.  I knew I was sure to be ‘Mommy of the Day‘ when I presented my girls with this.  It is a compilation of a dozen of the biggest hits from Barbie’s most recent movies like The Diamond Castle, Three Musketeers, 12 Dancing Princesses, and more and sure as can be, when I showed it to them, there was much joy in the 3P’s Kingdom. lol

Essentially, the DVD plays the main scene where the song happens in the movie plus gives text on the screen so the kids (or less knowledgeable parents) can “sing along” to the words.

My girls unanimously agreed that their very favorite song was the one from The Diamond Castle.  Here is a look at what the DVD actually looks like.
