Sewing a Friendship (Review)
A unique book , written and illustrated by a 10 year old girl with a desire to spread kindness and friendship, Natalie Tinti starts Sewing a Friendship with a picture of each of the characters in the book and character profile of each, answering the questions of birth date, age, family, eye color, hair color, favorite food, favorite color, and specialty. Thus, once the story starts in earnest, the readers can know just exactly who is involved.
The story is basically about five girls becoming friends because of their needs. The lovable role is held by the eldest of them. She is like the glue that keeps them together and teaches the younger girls with friendship, your wishes can come true. I know my girls will love it and hope it will encourage them to set that kind of example for others.
In the end , Natalie’s wonderful little book has become a 2009 silver medal winner in the Readers Favorite Book Reviews and she herself Natalie was announced among the winners of the 2010 Spring NABE Pinnacle Book Achievement Awards in the category of children’s interest. Pretty impressive for 10 years old.
The book is available at Amazon.com, Barnes&Noble.com, Books-A-Million, or bookstores near you for about $12.95.

…and here comes the fine print…
My review item was provided by Natalie Tinti and Tintinati. Other than the copy of Sewing a Friendship that I was sent, I was not provided with anything or enticed to do this review in any way. This review is solely my opinion of its qualities.
