My husband took me up to the front door to several places when we went shopping on Valentine’s day, and THEN went to park the car himself. He also went and picked us up AT the door when we were finished. I dont see that too much out there anymore. As a matter of fact, I commented to my 10 year old and her friend when a family came out of a certain store and the wife was carrying HUGE bags of what I would guess was bedding and clothes and the husband didnt offer to help at all. HE was holding the receipt and had a VERY shocked look on his face.(chuckle!) I told the girls they must NEVER settle for a guy that would be so rude and ungentlemanly!

My husband did it all right this Valentines. He bought me 3 bunches of my favorite flowers, and a very romantic card with a poem he wrote.
We stayed home and had a great dinner and he did the laundry!

On Valentine’s Day, my dear husband got up and made me breakfast in bed–it was wonderful–he had even found my favorite bakery and brought me my favorite pastries(he’s never actually been there–he had to ask my best friend where it was located–it’s in the basement of a huge office building–they really only sell to restaurants–but if you go in they will sell you a few items–but it is so not him to be adventurous)
It was extra sweet of him because he is on a new diet from his Dr –that allows no sweets.

My husband treats me like valentines day was every day. He gave me a new Netbook, back rub, and we were out of town on his business and I got to feeling badly so he drove me home in the middle of the night and drove back because he had to Preach Sunday am. He is a real gem!
