Our Family Vacation through the Lens of the Olympus Stylus Tough 8000 – Colorado
We are indeed back safe and sound from vacation (plus BlogHer and a trip to Boston with TJ Maxx/Marshalls for me) with many a great story to tell so let’s get started!
We were driving through Colorado on July 4th, en route to Steamboat Springs for the night. This was a fun little stop.
I’d say P3 thinks she is right at home here in the US, wouldn’t you?
P2 was loving the fresh air and sunshine.
P1′s shirt is so true…Miss Independent!
Just to show you a little of what this camera is capable of, this image was taken on the “Auto” setting through the passenger side window while traveling 70 miles and hour down the CO roads. Pretty impressive, don’t you think? This is due to the DUAL IMAGE STABILIZATION.
Though our planned for fireworks kind of got rained out, we awoke to a beautiful morning in Steamboat Springs and wished we could stay longer.
One of the quirkier things we saw here was this fire hydrant. Any guesses as to why it is so high off the ground plus has a flag a couple of feet up? Yup, snow.
On to Utah!
All images were taken using the Olympus Stylus Tough 8000

I NEED one of those AWESOME pictures of each of the girls.
I have not forgotten.:)
Wow great shots! That camera is small but mighty!

I totally agree!
[...] Once we got Mama feeling better, we were off on our fun family adventures, some which can be seen here, here, and here. Not only did we all enjoy it (and are willing to do something like that again!) [...]
