My Little Pirate Wench (Review)

1 September 2009

logo My Little Pirate Wench (Review) Have you noticed where you live that the mornings and evenings are a bit cooler?  I have and I am loving it!  Fall is my favorite season of all.  Maybe that is because my birthday and Halloween, package My Little Pirate Wench (Review) two of my favorite things are in October.  Halloween was such fun as a child and now that I have kids of my own, it is fun all over again.  We like to plan ahead for our costumes too.  This year I am trying to sell ALL three of them on our version of Peter Pan featuring P3 as Captain Hook, P2 as Tinkerbelle and P1 as Wendy.  We were totally in luck on P3′s costume because Connie over at Princess Time Toys & Pets sent me an adorable Simply Spooky Pirate Wench costume to test and give her my opinion on.

Ordering from their site was fairly simple and straight forward.  There is even FREE SHIPPING available which is a huge help in these crazy financial times.  the package arrived folded up in a clear plastic bag, keeping the costume clean and ready to wear.  Created by Little Adventures, the dress itself was cute and well made, especially for an item in it’s price range ($29.99).  Along with the dress came  a skull and crossbones scarf that makes a terrific addition to the dress as a sash.  The piece de la resistance though had to be the headband – complete with one gold colored pirate earring attached.

My little Pirate Wench was thrilled to put it on and would be more than happy to wear it each and every day at some point.  My policy with costumes is that they get tried on once before Halloween then are hung up until the Big Day so they stay clean and safe.  Well, with this one I may reconsider a little bit because – an you believe it? – it is machine washable!!  Make sure and use cold water and hang it dry but still…how often is a costume washable, seriously?  Pirate Wench P3 225x300 My Little Pirate Wench (Review)You may remember the beautiful dress P1 received made by them a couple of years ago – still gorgeous 2 years later!  The seams are all finished too, another real plus, helping it hold up for many days of fun.  Doesn’t P3 make the cutest little Pirate Wench ever??  You know I sure think so!   Head over to the Princess Time blog for lots of adorable shots of blogmom cuties in their Simply Spooky finest too!

So, would I buy more from Princess Time Toys?  You bet!  They have Witches, Bees, Fairies, and so many more.  And right now they have  their newest costumes on sale too plus you get an adorable set of white gloves free of charge!  Princess Time Toys is a real winner in my book!

Thanks to Connie at Princess Time Toys for making this post possible!
