I may not have the answers to what in the heck is up with Jon and Kate Gosselin but I now have the answer to one of the oldest questions of all time ~

WHY DOES THE CHICKEN CROSS THE ROAD????

What prompted this epiphany, you may ask.  Well, I was on the way home from dropping off one of my girls at school and we live in a somewhat rural area, this particular school especially as it is surrounded by large fields wheat and corn.  As I turned a corner near a farm house, there were two young poults wandering around on their own, on the opposite side of the road from their home.  I quickly braked because even though Chickens are not high on my list of favorite critters, well still and all, I did not want to hit them, you know.  Well, one immediately ran back across to the security of home base while the other one watched me for a minute, decided I posed no imminent danger (not too bright are they:)) and as I watched, I came upon the answer…

…TO TRY TO CATCH SOMETHING GOOD TO EAT!!!

And there ya have it ~ mystery solved! icon biggrin Ive Got it!

    Which lends credence to my theory that chickens are dumb. Risk being squashed just for food? I’m sure there is food on the other side of the road. It might be Burger King instead of McDonalds, but still…I wonder if he would order the chicken?
