I am Just Who You Need to Represent YOU at BlogHer 09!!
I really would! See, I plan to go there and make a HUGE Splash so my bags are packed… well, mentally at least. I so look forward to the chance to meet in real life(it’s the theme, after all) all the wonderful people I have met online, reconnect with people I was lucky enough to meet at BlissDom, and network, learn and soak up every bit of knowledge that I can. Since there will be 1200 or more top bloggers there, I know I should be among them, right? Have you thought about making your business or company’s mark on the World via being present and accounted for at BlogHer? Many other companies and business will be at BlogHer ‘09 and generally in the form of a sponsored blogger. You are not going to miss out on this golden opportunity to advertise your business, are you?;)
If you would like to have a professional, creative, dependable, and dynamic spokesperson represent and promote your company at BlogHer ‘09, you have come to the right place!
I would LOVE to represent you!
So let me tell you a little about myself. As you may know, I am Alyson LaBarge, owner and editor of 3Ps in a Pod. While I originally began blogging as a way to pass time while awaiting the adoption of my 3rd daughter, I have since learned a ton and developed a niche blogging about parenting multicultural children, product reviews, adoption, giveaways, and promoting humanitarian causes close to my heart. I have had the opportunity to review all sorts of products ~ services, toys and games, wonderful clothes and shoes, events, health related products and more. I have worked with companies of all shapes and sizes and built some really fantastic relationships in the process. I have connected with and made new friends in many circles and stations in life, especially my friend Kim from What’s That Smell?, who I collaborate with regularly. Along with writing for my own site and constantly providing fresh material there, I am also a contributing editor on Parent Reviewers, Beautiful!Fabulous!, and periodically write for Parenting Pink and Wellspshere.
I truly love the time I spend working on my blog. It really has become a part of my everyday life. I find myself constantly thinking about my readers and what would interest them. I constantly strive to learn how to better reach my audience and give them the chance to experience new and enticing products and I delight in the feedback I receive. My readers value the fact that I have them in mind as I review and present topics and have really come to trust my opinions. Due to the experiences I have had throughout my life, I draw a diverse audience of women (and men), from those who are just entering college to moms in the trenches of parenting to grandparents enjoying their retirement .
So why am I telling you all of this and what does it have to do with BlogHer ‘09?
Our world is daily changing and advertising is changing right along with it. Hardcopy ads are making room to include blogging, Twittering and all sorts of social media. This impacts you because you are having to change with the times in order to get your product into the minds and ultimately hands of consumers. Mom blogs are the ‘E’ ticket. Why? Moms have opinions and Moms do the shopping. If you reach women, especially moms, you boost your sales and improve your bottom line. Women and Moms like to blog. They like to share their latest find and they are happy to give their opinion. Then Moms listen to what other Moms think. It is as simple as that.
If you think having a professional, creative, dependable, and dynamic spokesperson sounds good, then by all means, please keep reading. By sponsoring me going to BlogHer, your company would get a spokeswoman who would network for and spread the word about you, as well as giving you a voice in that same mom blog world. Remember: Moms listen to what other Moms think. And, don’t forget that other businesses, including some of your competition, will be thereso you know you do not want to be left out. Just think, over 1,200 of the top bloggers will be at BlogHer ‘09 – a captive audience who are all willing to hear about terrific new products and great companies. And when I have shared your amazing product, they will turn around and tell their friends, who will tell their friends, who will tell…you get the picture.;)
I am looking for a few terrific companies who would like me to represent them at the BlogHer ‘09 Conference in July. For $200 you will get my dynamic and outgoing representation at BlogHer ‘09. So what does a partial sponsorship like this potentially get you? I will:
1. Free ad placement in a special BlogHer Sponsors section in my sidebar for the remainder of 2009.
2. Hand out any business cards or other promotional material that you would like (If you send samples of your products or other swag handed out at the conference I will create fantastic swag bags for you). I will be connecting with a ton of people so that means your business cards will be placed in a ton of hands!
3. Network on your behalf, talking about your product/services. If you have product you would like demonstrated at BlogHer, I will happily do so.
4. Blog posts about your company prior to the conference.
5. I will live tweet updates from BlogHer (sharing the scoop as sponsored by you) and include links to your company in all posts written while traveling to, during, and in a post-conference wrap up.
6. Happily discuss my wearing your product or logo as a promotional tool.
If you would like me to promote your business in another way other than the ways discussed I would be more than willing to discuss it with you via email or phone. I am very open to ideas so do not hesitate to ask…I may just say yes!
Now, I realize that not all businesses have a marketing budget that can cover $200. Please do not let that keep you from contacting me. I am more than willing to work with you! I have a few other ideas we can discuss that will help get your product out there to the bloggers at BlogHer ‘09. We can help each other and make it a win-win situation all the way around.
Please email me directly if you have any questions or if you would like to talk about a sponsorship opportunity, and feel free to pass my message on to someone that you think would benefit from having a spokeswoman at BlogHer ‘09. I appreciate you taking the time to read this.
Thank you for considering a sponsorship for me to the 2009 BlogHer conference!
