The nice folks at Chex® along  with My Blog Spark sent me a great gift pack the other day. It included a Lock-n-Lock 4.2 qt plastic storage container, a 2 cup plastic measuring cup with a lid, a set of measuring spoons that measure all the way up to 1/3 cup, a set of recipe cards for making gluten free goodness using our favorite Chex® Cereals, and a coupon good for a free box of Gluten Free Chex Cereal. I call that a pretty great package!

There are five Chex® varieties that are gluten free: Rice Chex, Corn Chex, Honey Nut Chex, Chocolate Chex, and Cinnamon Chex. As a reminder, please be sure to check the label when buying any gluten-free cereal to make sure it does not have any ingredients that contain gluten.

Chex cereal also makes it easy to create flavorful gluten-free recipes the whole family can enjoy – from snack mixes to mealtime favorites. Always read labels to make sure each recipe ingredient is gluten free. Products and ingredient sources can change.
Success
The cinnamon and sugar mixture blends in more evenly when it’s sprinkled on the cereal mixture a half at a time.

1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 cups Cinnamon Chex® cereal
2 cups Chocolate Chex® cereal
4 cups popped popcorn
1/4 cup butter or margarine
txt preparation Gluten Free Chex Treats are a Treat Giveaway
1. In small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon; set aside. In large microwavable bowl, mix cereals and popcorn.
2. In 1-cup microwavable measuring cup, microwave butter uncovered on High about 40 seconds or until melted. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
3. Microwave uncovered on High 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute. Sprinkle half of the sugar mixture evenly over cereal mixture; stir. Sprinkle with remaining sugar mixture; stir. Microwave 1 minute longer. Spread on waxed paper or paper towels to cool. Store in airtight container.
