———————————————————————————

If you are anything like me, you love the smell of a good candle in your home.  Of course, if you are anything like my almost 9 yr old, you love nothing better than to go around behind me and blow them all out but I digress.:)  The Glade Fragrance Collection can help you transform any room of your home, bringing you the perfect expression for any mood or occasion. And whether the scent you crave is fruity or floral, spicy or sensual, Glade® has a fragrance to satisfy you. For more than 50 years, Glade® has been bringing quality, lasting, inspiring scents to the homes of families all over the world.

Recently, as a member of the Family Review Network, I was sent a beautiful candle from the Glade Fragrance Collection for review.  It was actually a large 10-ounce candle with 3 wicks with their new  fragrance ~ Lemongrass and Citrus.  They could not have chosen  a better scent for me ~ j’adore Lemongrass!  Opening the the lid of the candle alone makes the room smell good.  The candle has three wicks, so once lit, it actually gives off quite a bit of light and creates a wonderful ambiance in any room.  I placed it in the kitchen and it permeated the air throughout there but our open family room as well.  The fragrance from the candle can really do an excellent job of masking long lasting odors like bacon too!Candle3 300x223 Glade Fragrance Collection Review/Giveaway

These candles are soy-based, which is slower and cooler than paraffin wax, creating a longer burning candle.  Along with the 10 oz. candles, the sell 2 oz.soy candles and reed diffusers in the same scent.  Then come this October, Glade will release some delicious sounding Holiday scents as well – Pomegranate & Cranberries and Fresh Pine & Cedar.

I have used several lemongrass candles, blends mostly, and I’ve also made lemongrass soap. There is something so comforting and exotic about lemongrass. It creates an instant vacation for the senses — and it also calms my cats.

  • 62 Maria J said:

I would like to try the Mexican vanilla, since Mexican hot chocolate is something I like to make when the weather turns frosty. But in general, I believe that vanilla is the Queen of all flavors and perfumes. It combines particularly well with cinnamon, lemon, orange, and lime!
