Gifts of the Season: Pinkalicious, It’s Party Time for Nintendo DS

A couple of years ago, we discovered the wonderfully illustrated book, ‘Pinkalicious‘. It was followed in quick succession by ‘Purplicious‘, ‘Goldilicious‘ and ‘Silverlicious‘. All four are about a little girl who is completely in love with the color pink and some character building experiences she goes through.
In Pinkalicious, It’s Party Time for Nintendo DS, players will be able to interact with Pinkalicious and explore the magical town of Pinkville, including popular places like The Bakery, Florist, Ice Cream Parlor and Stationery Store. Players help her set up parties that mean cooking baked goods such as cupcakes or cookies, as well as putting together party bags, decorating and getting dressed up for the parties. Even after the adventure is finished, the fun isn’t over. Pinkalicious, It’s Party Time has high replay value and with the endless Activity and Dress-Up modes, your little girl can play again and again, changing her favorite scenarios as many times as she wishes. Pinkalicious celebrates all things pink while showing that being yourself is best of all.
This is a game that my 8 yr old daughter can play with it for hours at a time. She can decorate cupcakes, cookies, ice cream sundaes and even make invitations and decorate for all types of parties from baby showers to all holidays. This is such a cute and adorable game. Her younger sister (age 5) can even enjoy it because there is no strategy involved, only lots of pink-colored fun.
Created by GameMill Publishing and released in March 2011, it currently comes with a stylus and cleaning cloth – pink ones, of course! List price is $19.99 and it can be found at Amazon.com, Toys-r-Us and retailers near you. It is rated E for Everyone.
I wrote this while participating in a review for the Game Review Network on behalf of Nintendo. I received a promotional copy to facilitate the review. The opinions are 100% my own.
