The Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo…or as it is still know at my house, the Fat Stock Show.:)  Believe it or or not, it is held in Fort Worth Texas.:)  If you have never been, well, you have missed out for sure!

More than 925,000 visitors and exhibitors are expected to pass through the gates to enjoy Fort Worth’s most attended event. Ranchers, farmers and the general public will gather from throughout the U.S. and more than 50 foreign countries to view in excess of 22,000 head of livestock that will be on exhibit over the 24 days. Everyone enjoys activities such as witnessing or participating in the judging competitions, attending the nation’s most prestigious rodeo, displaying and shopping the massive commercial exhibits area, being enriched by the educational exhibits and being entertained by a major helping of fabulous family-oriented activities.

Now, just because the fun started a week ago, the fun is far from over.  The Stock Show is open daily over in the Cultural District in Ft. Worth.  The rodeos are full of action and suspense as PRCA cowboys come from all over the world to hit the dirt in the World’s Original Indoor Arena nightly.  FFA and 4H are still competing head to head over judging and showing, there will be horses, sheep, poultry, rabbits, cattle of all breeds and more trying to win best of breed and best of show.  There are displays and exhibitors galore.  And the food…. Corny Dogs, Red Beans & Rice, Funnel Cakes, and more!  And don’t forget the Midway!.
