Frigidaire and Jennifer Garner Need Our Help to Save the Children!

24 September 2009

Frigidare Frigidaire and Jennifer Garner Need Our Help to Save the Children!Yesterday I learned of a wonderful combination and I am so excited to announce the news today!!  Many of my friends have been sharing the merits of Frigidaire’s incredible new appliance line.  Well they have chosen now to kick it all up a notch by taking their commitment to mothers everywhere one step further by joining forces with one of my favorite oft-admired and philanthropic celebrity moms, Jennifer Garner!  I knew I liked that woman!

You see, not only is Jennifer a huge fan of the time-saving features of the new Frigidaire appliance line, but she’s teaming up with the brand to launch an incredible campaign for an important cause. Jennifer and Frigidaire are proud to kick off the Make Time for CHANGE campaign to support Save the Children’s U.S. Programs, dedicated to making a difference for the smallest and most vulnerable Americans – children.  I cannot applaud their efforts loudly enough!

Frigidaire’s new line of appliances, the largest launch in the brand’s history, is designed with time-saving features for busy moms and which one of us does not like THAT idea. What Frigidaire and Jennifer are proposing is that ALL of the MOMS – and everyone who believes in the power of Moms – to think ahead to November 1st – the day all of us change the clocks and get an extra hour – and pledge to use that time to make CHANGE for children.  That one little hour.  Do you know how much good we can accomplish in that one hour??logoSaveTheChildren small Frigidaire and Jennifer Garner Need Our Help to Save the Children!

So, starting today, for everyone who goes to Frigidaire.com and raises their hand with a pledge to make time for a child, Frigidaire will donate $1 to support the CHANGE program and Save the Children’s work to help children in need in the U.S. And get this – in addition to that warm and fuzzy feeling you get from doing something good, everyone who pledges their time will be entered for a chance to win a new Frigidaire Professional double wall oven! Hollah!!  Now if you happen to be shopping for top-notch new appliances should also know that, for every new Frigidaire Professional double wall oven sold, Frigidaire will donate $100 to Save the Children’s U.S Programs as part of their $250,000 commitment to this worthy cause.  How can you go wrong – first rate products AND benefit the lives of AMERICAN children at the same time!
Even though Frigidaire knows that all Moms are nutso, crazy, busy, they also recognize that Moms will find time to spread the word about something that will make a difference.  As such,  they are offering an awesome opportunity to the MomSelect community. Everyone who shares the news of this great campaign with their readers will be entered into a separate contest to win the amazing Frigidaire Professional Double Wall Oven!

On a more personal note, in case you are here for the first time or have been unsure before, THIS IS WHAT MY BLOG IS ALL ABOUT!  Making the lives of Moms easier and encouraging and inspiring an outpouring of Humanitarian aid and compassion.   I am so grateful for those whose lives were touched to either directly or indirectly provide aid to my precious daughter while she was in much need in a far away orphanage.  Please, please take a minute and consider what you can do on November 1st with that one hour to help another.

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Frigidaire and received a gift certificate to thank me for taking the time to participate.

I’m one mom tho won’t be participating. The announcement event was really poorly executed. You can read about my mommy blogger experience here:

I am so sorry that the event did not go off as you would have wanted. I agree, talking to her would have really been nice. Try emailing Frigidaire and or Mom Select and let them know so they can correct the errors from your event in the future! Thanks for stopping by though!
