I think I have told you that I worked for Disney during my 20′s.  A lot of that time was spent with The Disney Store’s.  I had a lot of opportunities while working there including opening several stores, training Cast Members, and going to France to help open Euro Disneyland (yes, I know it is now called Disneyland Paris but that is a soapbox for another post.)  One of the most frequent opportunities while working in the stores was building (and re-building – frequently) Plush Mountain, the large mound of stuffed animals you usually find in most Disney establishments.  We had plush of every shape and size and I have to say, I developed a pretty good eye for high quality plush.

Recently I was given the chance to review review two all-natural plush from miYim and My Natural, compliments of Role Mommy.  I received the Baby Ben Plush Frog from miYim and a monkey from the My Natural line.  As soon as they arrived, I knew I would have to immediately put them into hiding until I was ready to take pictures of them and give them a serious once-over or my girls would have snatched them up in a heartbeat!

When I pulled them out to take a good look at them, I could not get over just how soft they are and how well made.They’re made from 100% cotton and dyed naturally, without any chemicals.  The colors on the toys are achieved using unbleached cotton treated by Pure Water Wash and hand dyed in soy water.  They were very sturdy and safe too, such that I would feel comfortable giving them to a very young child like P3.  The My Natural line is certified non-toxic, made with all-natural materials and dyes as well. They are available now at Target and just as cute as can be.  And I really loved the fact that the box that our cute Froggie arrived in is reusable and handcrafted from recycled materials. miYim is dedicated in every part of their production and shipping, that they create safe, natural toys while showing the utmost respect for the environment.  Pretty cool stuff.
