Before I had children, one of my favorite things for new babies were diaper cakes or wreaths and knew that when I finally did become a Mom, I wanted one at my shower.  When I finally had a baby shower or two for my own babies, we were all so thrilled that these little angels were joining out family that we forgot all about wanting a diaper cake.  Never the less, I am still head over heels in love with them.

Recently I was asked to review a diaper cake from Diaper Cakewalk.  (How cute a name is that??) Let me tell you, these little gems are packed with diapers, toiletries, plush, you name it! – everything necessary for baby’s first days and weeks. Diaper cakes really do make a fantastic gift for new or expecting parents.  Located in Atlanta, Diaper Cakewalk’s diaper cakes have really become something of a sensation.  Loved by moms and dads both, they have been given to celebrities such as Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, Nicole Ritchie and Joel Madden, and Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman, just to name a few.100 0305 225x300 Diaper Cakewalk (Review/Giveaway)(Ended)

Each diaper cake is lovingly made when you order them.  They are created using 100% premium Pampers Swaddlers size 1-2 disposable diapers.  They also create eco-friendly diaper cakes made from Seventh Generation chlorine free disposables, size 1.  The cakes are available in different styles and colors including gender neutral colors like their Mocha and Creme Eco-Friendly Diaper Cake.  And they even make one for twins! Oh so cute!  There are a variety of goodies that either are or can be included in the cakes ranging from a comb and brush, diaper cream, wipes, shampoo, socks and more.  The diaper cakes run from only $20 for a 2-layer do-it-yourself style cake to $139 or more, depending on your chosen style.  They are so adorable – I cannot imagine anyone who would not just love them!

If you are hosting a baby shower, the diaper cakes make wonderful centerpieces as do the darling baby sock bouquets!  There are even some great ideas for planning the shower including games, themes and decor.

Diaper CakewalkI have seen quite a few diaper cakes before but these are some of the best made ones on the market.  Leah will even wrap them up in beautiful white tulle and have them look like a gift fit for a prince or princess.  And if the Atlanta area is not convenient to you, no problem!  Diaper Cakewalk diaper cakes are put together so well that they travel like a dream and can be shipped anywhere in the US, even overnight!  They are well padded and come out of the box beautifully.
