Pain.
Ongoing, throbbing, pounding, never ending agonizing pain.
In my case, for 3 years. Yep, 36 months. 6 days out of 7. 3 weeks out of four
Preventative medicines like Topamax didn’t help.
Acute treatment meds like Imitrex didn’t work.
Neural blocks didn’t help from a pain specialist.
Periodic Botox injections didn’t work.
Blessings and Prayers didn’t work.
Pain medicines did but then all I did was sleep.
And have ongoing, throbbing, pounding, never ending agonizing pain.
Well NO MORE.

Early in 2011, my Mom and I went to a seminar at Ascendant Neuro in Dallas, TX. It was very educational ...

While starting on a weight loss regimen in December is pretty much self defeating behavior, starting in January is quite common and it will be here before any of us know it. I don’t know about you, but I do not like tracking my weight as much as my RESULTS. I find it much more encouraging to track what I have lost than all that I have ahead of me to lose. Well, let me introduce you to The Zero Scale.

I worked for Dr. Gerald Moore, an Allergy and Pediatric Pulmonary specialist, for more than five years and I loved it. I learned so much while under his employ from things about allergies and allergy shots to pulmonary diseases like Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and Asthma to nasty life-threatening viruses like RSV(respiratory syncytial virus). While there is no cure or preventative for CF and Asthma, thankfully there is for RSV.

Trying to be healthy, look great and have the muscle mass you are looking for is not an easy task. Let’s face it, moms just do not have hours and hours and hours to spend in the gym bodybuilding. However, if this is your goal, it can be achieved.
The first thing you need to do is understand what some of the terms really mean. Take muscle building for example. It refers to a body building program to add muscle mass and healthy body weight through diet regulation ...

I wrote this post while participating in a blog tour conducted by Clever Girls Collective on behalf of Children’s Claritin®. I have been compensated for my time commitment to the program.

We had a very busy practice and I gave lots and lots of allergy shots every day to both adults and children. Some of those little ones I absolutely fell in love with(little did I know that some 10+ ...

Now kids seem much more prone to stay in doors and with cell phones, the Internet, and video games, it seems like kids are becoming more hermit-like. This concern seems to be ...
