When my girls first started to want to ride a scooter, I was not at all sure that was something I wanted my little girls to do.  But when I watch them – especially P3 – zoom up and down our street with a huge grin from ear to ear, well, it is hard not to smile right along with her.  And while my hubby was not originally keen on our girls keeping the whole Barbie image alive and well in our house, he as since learned that some battles are not meant to be fought. :)

Of course, these days, what parent doesn’t want their kids up and about, soaking up all the fresh air and exercise they can get?  Well, let me introduce our next prize.

Barbie SkateboardFor the next  group, Group 5 (our age 8 group), Bravo Sports is providing a flashy, hot pink 28 inch Barbie Skateboard.  Is that a perfect combination or what?!

With surfboard shaped wood deck, painted edges, sprayed on grip tape and aluminum trucks, your girl is sure to enjoy this durable ride and be the envy of all her friends.  I know my oldest daughter would!

Testing out the skateboard myself was out of the question – I would have had to video it and then you would have all been laughing so hard, you never would have gotten around to entering this giveaway but I did check it over, top to bottom and I can honestly say this is one well-made piece of equipment.  The wheels are well-spaced, to give an even ride and the grips have been applied with a firm adhesive, allowing for many, many hours of solid fun.barbie logo 300x120 Because it’s Christmas 2: Barbie (prize group 5 giveaway)

Well, Bravo has generously provided one of the 28 in. Barbie Skateboards for our giveaway here, but they have also provided one that is being donated to the Children and Families of Rattan Elementary via the Angel Tree in Anna, TX.  As I mentioned previously in our intro post, with the Economic situation and just life in general, we feel there is an even greater need for this than ever.  And this year, thanks to the generosity of Bravo someone will receive one of these fantastic skateboards as we try to help brighten a needy child’s Christmas.
