Aloha Friday – Edition 8

As you remember, in Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that folks take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So following Kailani’s lead, I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link over on An Island Life. This week has largely been spent in preparation for today and the rest of the weekend. Why, you ask? This is the weekend that the Hubby and I get to go away for a couple nights and I AM ECSTATIC!! Don’t get me wrong, I adore my kids but time alone is precious and rare and both Hubs and I have really been looking forward to it. No huge plans just quiet dinners, sleeping in, shopping, maybe a movie, and a visit to the museum… many of my favorite things. So, that brings me to my question for today:

Some of my favorite things are snuggling under my down comforter, cookie dough ice cream, listening to the rain while being cozy indoors, a great book, and a great movie. I also really have to add that my favorite things list must include my family and friends.
