Aloha Friday – Edition 7

31 October 2008
alohafriday5 Aloha Friday Edition 7As you remember, in Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that folks take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So following Kailani’s lead, I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link over on An Island Life. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

It has been a crazy sort of week around here (yeah, like yours has been dull and boring.lol) and Halloween has finally arrived. I know several people have asked Halloween questions so I do not want to be redundant. Instead, I want to ask you about YOUR birthday. See, mine was yesterday and it was awesome…quite possibly the best I have had in years. I’ll tell you all about it later.:) In the meantime, here is this week’s question:

What is YOUR best birthday memory since you were a kid?

I cannot wait to see your answers and visit as many of you as possible. Everyone have a safe and happy Halloween!!

I have great memories of a birthday after I met my husband and he came here to visit me. He stayed up late with me while I finished a huge project for college.

How sad, I can’t think of one best moment. Not that they have been bad or anything…We usually go on vacation or would go up north for my birthday. We had some good ones.

I had my 50th (yes, number 50!!) this past year and had a blast. We planned it last minute as we were still waiting to hear about our adoption referral month. So we rented a sailing clipper boat for an evening sail and invited friends and family to come aboard. My DH surprised me with a carriage ride and dinner with all our guests afterwards. All in beautiful St. Augustine.

Hope yours is a happy one!!

I don’t know that I have a ‘best’ birthday memory. I spend my birthday with my family every year and that is what makes memories.
