Ahhhh-choo! Help! I have Allergies! (Review/Giveaway)
This Giveaway is Now Closed.
Welcome to Fall Allergy season! I don’t know about you but down here at our house we are all sneezin’, wheezin’ and coughing as the beloved Ragweed rages on. Thankfully neither Brett or the Girls nor I get near as sick as some of the patients did when I worked for Gerald Moore, MD PA in North Texas. As his shotroom guru, I had many, many patients who were miserable not only in the Fall but other times of the year as well and some even year round.
Many people are able and willing to take allergy injections but many are not and taking a daily medication for allergies is just plain no fun. Thankfully, the smart Doctors of the world have many new and simpler options to help their patients find relief.
Dr. Moore had taught Brett and I to do a saline rinse of our sinuses using a special recipe of Kosher Salt, Baking Soda, and warm water and then irrigating our sinuses with either a bulb syringe or water pik. It helps me tremendously when I am sick to moisten and loosen the mucous that likes to ferment in my head. For my husband, it has all but stopped his Migraines dead in their tracks.
Who knew that such a simple thing could bring such relief?
The folks over at SinuCleanse and SinuCleanse Kids Mist, that’s who! They recently sent me both the adult version (SinuCleanse) and child-size version – Kids Mist to try out here at home. Brett has given the adult version a try and while he finds the pre-measured dose packets super simple and very effective, he prefers his simple bulb delivery.
As for the Kids Mist however, we have a major winner! P3 often has thick or crusty gunk in her sinuses and rather than give her medicine or simply wait for her to develop an infection, I can use this terrific and oh-so-easy to use product. Here is basically how it works:
See? Simple. And you can purchase them either online at their Online Store or at a local pharmacy near you. They run about $15 for the Kids Mist set that includes a 3 week supply of premixed saline for use. And if you run over to the SinuCleanse website, you can even get a $2.00 off coupon right now.
Of course, one of my lucky readers will even be able to win one of their own to try out – I am sure you will like it! So how do you win?
Visit SinuCleanse and check out all of their great items. Come back here and leave a comment telling us what feature on the SinuCleanse site interests you the most and why.
